Support an Essex Admiral Nurse (SEAN) in aid of Dementia UK

SEAN is a new fundraising group in Burnham aiming to raise money to help fund Admiral Nurses in Essex. We want to raise £50,000 which will pay for one Admiral Nurse for one year.

Dementia UK is a registered charity and provides specialist dementia nurses, Admiral Nurses, who give one to one support to the families and carers of those living with dementia. Admiral Nurses help by giving advice, information and support helping families cope with the challenges and fear that living with dementia can bring.

There are currently none of these nurses working in Essex but Dementia UK is working hard to bring this specialist dementia support to families in the area.

SEAN is working in aid of Dementia UK which has a ring fenced fund for Essex as it is one of their target areas.
