Venue 3. The Garden Studio, 4 Fernlea Road

Frances Franklin 

Throughout the week Frances will be working in her garden studio creating artworks using a variety of techniques, including mosaics, carving and the use of  reclaimed materials. Visitors are welcome to spend time in the garden, painting, sketching or just relaxing.

Drums for fun

Join Paul Lester in a percussion drum workshop using Darbuka and Djembe drums.  Exploring North African rhythms – you can come and go as you please, and bring a drum if you have one!  Date and time soon to be confirmed.

 

Venue 4.  Studio, 13 Park

John Green

See John demonstrating his watercolour techniques that celebrate simplicity, and have a go at sketching – materials provided.

 

Venue 6. Garden Studio, 9 Winstree Road

Jenny Newman

Jenny will be in her enchanting garden studio demonstrating her ways of working. Vistors are invited to have a go at pastel painting using animals as the inspiration. All materials provided.

 

Venue 7. Station House, Station  Approach

Open studios with resident artists Glynnis Dye & Triss Norman

Alongside the open studios will be ceramics by Moira Goodall and home accessories created by textile artist, Iona Hawkins.

 

Venue 13.  Amy Keeper Jewellery Studio & Craft Gallery, 86 Station Road

See Amy’s jewellery made on the premises, and explore work made by some of the best British craft designers.

 

Venue 15.  Chapel Studio, Albert Road

Akiko Fujikawa

Housed in a converted chapel, Akiko’s studio and gallery showcases her woodblock prints.  A master printmaker, Akiko offers the chance to learn new skills:

Japanese woodblock printing: 23, 24, 25, 29, 30 June – £5 per print

James Bradshaw & Lucy Fowler

A garden studio tucked away just off the High Street – providing an oasis of calm, with a lovely show of paintings, prints and ceramics.

 

Venue 25.  Warners Hall, High Street

Johanna Kennedy

See Johanna’s animal and bird paintings in her home studio – which also happens to be one of the most distinguished houses in Burnham.

 

Venue 26. Ramblers Studio, 12 Ramblers Way

Jean Webber & Martin Hipsey

Throughout the week Jean will be in her studio demonstrating oil painting techniques.  Offering light lunches and cream teas in her delightful garden, Jean also plays host to Martin Hipsey’s quirky sculptures.  On top of this, there’s a chance to see her husband’s model railway.

 

Venue 27.  The Studio, 85 High Street

Fianne Stanford

Painter and printmaker, Fianne’s work and beautiful old press are available to see in her studio.  Weekends only.
