Sue Spiers
From Thursday 22 January to Friday 13 March, the walls of the Ground Café will bloom with Sue Spiers’ watercolours — vibrant, atmospheric visions of coastal life, quiet boats, and gardens steeped in gentle light.
Sue Spiers
I have been painting professionally for almost forty years, mainly in watercolour - favourite subjects are Burnham and Maldon focussing on the river and boats.
Every Christmas I have my work in 'Salty dogs', a pop up shop specialising in nautical artwork, I also take part in Burnham Art Trail where I organise Art on the Quay, and I'm chairman of Burnham Art club which I've been a member of for over forty years. The art club paint on the Quay at Burnham from February through to November when the weather is mild and the light is always changing and beautiful. Our art club annual exhibition is during Burnham Week, the last week in August. I have displayed my work in 'The Olde White Harte' since 1989, and I have a website - www.suespiers.co.uk I can be contacted via email sjrspiers@gmail.com
