Art at the Café
Art at the Café is a year-round showcase of local creativity, bringing the spirit of the Burnham Art Trail into everyday spaces.
Art at the Café has expanded, with additional exhibitions hosted at The Parlour Café from 2026 to broaden the opportunities for artists and visitors alike.
If you’re part of the Burnham Art Trail, this programme offers a chance to exhibit beyond the main annual event. Exhibiting is free, open to Trail artists, and a great way to reach new audiences all year round.
Come for the coffee. Stay for the art. And check back often — the walls are always changing.
Ground Café hosts an ongoing series of mini-exhibitions, giving artists the chance to show and sell their work — and giving visitors something beautiful and unexpected to enjoy with their coffee.
A new artist takes over the walls roughly every six weeks, so there is always something fresh to discover. It’s an ever-changing way to experience the breadth of talent in our community and to support artists throughout the year.
Roger Perrin
From the 27st March the Parlour Café is transformed into a quiet journey through stillness, intimacy, and the landscapes that hold our most fleeting moments. Each scene lingers in the space between observation and emotion, inviting viewers to pause, breathe, and step into the gentle, contemplative worlds the artist creates.
Vincent Hernan
From Thursday 13 March, the walls of the Ground Café will host Vincent Hernan’s quietly arresting photographs — scenes of tide-marked stone, solitary paths, gathered animals, and the subtle architectures of everyday life.
Anna Chiampesan
From the 13th February to the 20th March, the walls of the Parlour Café become an intimate exploration of the human form, where each gesture and subtle shift in posture reveals a quiet narrative, inviting viewers into the raw, expressive language that lives beneath movement.
Sue Spiers
From Thursday 22 January to Friday 13 March, the walls of the Ground Café will bloom with Sue Spiers’ watercolours — vibrant, atmospheric visions of coastal life, quiet boats, and gardens steeped in gentle light.
