As a volunteer led group, our purpose is to support our talented members by raising their profile. By organising the annual Art Trail we provide a unique opportunity for visitors to view, purchase and commission artworks from those who live and work in the Dengie area and across south east Essex.
During the Art Trail visitors can meet artists at special events, Art on the Quay, Free Sketching and Workshops. At Open Studios you’ll be able view artist’s sketchbooks, giving an in-depth look at each artist’s process and practise, along with new works in progress. Throughout the Trail you will be able to buy original pieces of artwork across a variety of disciplines including painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, printmaking & photography.

If you are an artist or maker and would be interested in exhibiting in the next Burnham Art Trail, please revisit this page in December 2023 for links to our submission form. We particularly welcome those artists and creatives who are willing to run workshops, demonstrations or actively contribute to the running and organisation of the trail.
